Over the top barbarism meets functionality.
Ever wanted to hack up a zombie, open a beer, then build a makeshift bunker? Well sir, I think we have just the thing for you. This doomsday/outdoor "shtf" scenario multi-functional device is all the things you love from your swiss army knife, only bigger and more bad ass. The device is highly adaptive, durable as hell, and just the right amount of awkward. It doesnt hurt the ferocity or lethality of this beast though. Lets take a closer look...
The pommel of this barbaric swiss shovel contains a hammer, hoe/chisel/pry, and hide-away for any essential small item survival gear. Personally I'd probably store in there a fire stick, some water tabs, and a map of the area if it'd fit. And hell, why not lanyard a compass to the thing.
It's always nice to have storage in as many of your items as possible so I give this end a thumbs up. Of course, as with any all in one items, none of these are going to be as effective in the real world as the real deal; so I have to give a sad face to that.
Looking at the spade you'll notice a saw edge, sharpened blade, bottle opener, and 550 paracord wrapped around the handle. Seems like these guys just forgot to attach a small shotgun. Although I'd hate to cut down trees with the thing, its packing a lot of options in there.
And lets be honest. The shovel is already dangerous enough, now its sharp as hell? Another thumbs up for this guy. Oh and of course, while Im chopping wood for my fire, a nice brewski is always in order.
All in all I'm impressed with the effort made by these guys in constructing this. Its lightweight at 5.5 lbs and does just about anything you'd want it to do. Priced at $139.99 its a little steep, but quality made in the USA.
Call it a Jack-of-all-spades if you will. I give it overall 4 out of 5 stars. Missing the last one for efficiency, but hey, its got what you need. After handling one of these recently I must say, its one rock solid item worth the price.
Final verdict? If you gotta have it, go for it.
